STATEMENT ART GOES A LONG WAY: How to upgrade your home decor with oversized art

Although gallery wall groupings add an interesting and collected look to a living space, I’ve found that using one single piece of over-sized art or “Statement Art”, as I like to call it, tends to make more of an impact than groupings of smaller objects.

Two common misconceptions about using large scale art in designing a space is that you either need a room with soaring ceilings to pull off the look or that using an over-sized piece will make the space feel smaller. Not true! An over-sized piece can actually make a space look larger and you don’t need high ceilings to successfully pull off the look.
